OT: Been in Nashville this weekend

This is the first time I’ve been in my adult life. The town has a real nice vibe to it.

Broadway is balls to the walls these days. The best parts of that city are not downtown anymore.

12 South is a cool area. We stayed around there back in the winter one weekend.

It’s still a great city, but it’s been quickly losing its “small big city” feel for a few years. It’s a different than when I moved here 14 years ago.

Definitely. It’s a great area. Reese’s ‘Draper James’ is a great place if you’re looking for Christmas presents.

I’d you’re still here, go to monells tomorrow for breakfast. It’s kind of like the Dinner bell in McComb where it’s family style southern food, but some of the best fried chicken around. If you go for breakfast, there’s a meat plate with bacon, sausage (patty and link!) and ham that gives me happy meat sweats just thinking about it.

Brandon Walker said it right, Vandy doesn’t deserve Nashville. What a great time we had, I’m going make this little trip a habit, it’s only 41/2 hour drive.
