Pleeeeease!!!!

Tito Fuentes head and shoulders above them both.

What?? What did he ever do in the playoffs? Never won a WS.

Here's another player for whom it's an absolute crime he's not in the HOF:

I'm assuming this is tongue in cheek or you're talking about the broadcaster's wing?

In either case, I don't know if you can find still it anywhere, but his autobiography "Catcher in the Wry" was a hoot.

I was pretty sure, but I checked to make sure Uecker was still alive. Came across some of his quotes.

The way to catch a knuckleball is to wait until it stops rolling and then pick it up.

I knew when my career was over. In 1965 my baseball card came out with no picture.

In 1962 I was named Minor League Player of the Year. It was my second season in the bigs.

Sporting goods companies pay me not to endorse their products.

I set records that will never be equaled. In fact, I hope 90% of them don't even get printed.

I had slumps that lasted into the winter.

Anybody with ability can play in the big leagues. But to be able to trick people year in and year out the way I did, I think that was a much greater feat.

Lol, classic. I remember when the thing was to shout "Must be In the Front Row" every time we'd sit in the nosebleeds of the peanut gallery. Do that nowadays and people look at you strange.

Here is an anecdote about getting a strange look mostly because of your age. For whatever reason my company like to give big sales/installation projects names. A new project was just named first base. A young guy was explaining the details. At a pause I asked him who's on first. I got this puzzled look, then he said "I don't know". My response was 3rd base. Others in the room got it but the kid was clueless.

Stupidity or jealously or both.

Probably - Jessica Alba who he gave herpes to and about thousand other ho's. Google it.

Babe Ruth - did not get 100%
Ty Cobb - did not get 100 %

He was good but way overated - imo

He sucked his last few years.

Not sure but I am struggling to find many SS's with 14 years of 99+ runs scored and 8 years of 200+ hits and while not a slugger, he did average about 50 extra base hits each year and add in everything else including his WS rings...trying to figure out how he is overrated.

2013 he was injured and his final year of 14 was just ok but compared to the rest of his career, it did suck but 2012, his 2nd to last full year, he may have had one of his best years. The guy only had maybe 2 or 3 ehh years in his entire career.
