Don’t mind his/her takes, but perhaps a bit overconfident based on what Purdue had coming back. Think JB went out of his way to make AO Heisman candidate in the season opener though. Is Jones still only the 4th best receiver on the roster?
GBR!

I'm here. It was depressing to see them lose the game considering they were the better team most of the game. Something you guys are familiar with unfortunately. Have two weeks and a scrimmage to correct the things that lost the game last night. Most of them are correctable.

Hindsight being 20/20, I don't mind playing PSU early because it was a great test and probably the toughest team Purdue will play this year, so still should be a good year. Just glad Purdue looked liked they belong and validated my 8 win prediction. Penalties were just so uncharacteristic of a Brohm team. A lot of the WR's and DB's had barely practiced to that point, recovering from off-season surgery, so I guess slightly expected. Don't think ARY played, Thompson was still limping.

I don't think Brohm tried to get cute at the end, I just don't think Purdue was running at all. So do you run it in hopes of getting lucky or play to your strength and risk the clock stopping. If O'Connell doesn't underthrow sheffield, we are talking about a Purdue win. PSU did a good job making him uncomfortable and their DB's late were outstanding. Speaking of QB's, PSU backup better than Clifford? Small sample size, but he looked good.

Not sure the season is over for Nebraska or Purdue.

If ifs were fifths, we’d all be drunk

welcome to the season over, hype train derailed, terrible coaching 0-1 club

brohm kind of does look like frost + 15 years and calls plays like frost in 2019

If I was a Purdue fan, the play that would stick in my craw the most would be the buzzer-beater TD at the end of the first half. C'mon guys, make a freaking tackle.

I'll take it one step further back. The fumble that even allowed for that. That was brutal. Thought that TD to follow was ballgame tbh. Almost left the bar. That uncharacteristic underthrow to sheffield late also doesn't sit well. AOC makes that throw, Purdue is up 10 with 3 minutes left. The plays were there. Just didn't make them.

Purdue isn’t out the West race.. After all Boilers were the 3.5 dog and I can relate how they let that game slip away.. Seen it too many times the past 4 years..
