I basically hate pretty much all commericals, but his I find particularly annoying.
Does he really need the money ?

Footling bread remove the inside
Spinach
Tomato
Pepper
Banana pepper
Olives

Charles would enjoy it

Dude is one of the nicest professional sports guys I've ever met. Second only to Wayne Gretzky. Used to see him alot when he lived in Philadelphia

Does he get free Subway subs as a result of his work with them? If so, I'm sure he's not going to turn down free food when it's a convenient option for him.

Love Chuck
Always rooted for him.
With the size of him, I bet he doesn't pass any food establishment.😂😂

Sometime around 1986-88, my family was eating in a restaurant in Caesars in Atlantic City (I would have been like 10 or 11ish), when my mother says "Hey, is that Patrick Ewing?" (which I'm sure is the only name of a 7 foot black guy she knew at the time). So I look over my shoulder and it was actually Charles Barkley eating dinner with Robert Parrish. In hindsight, the Celtics were probably in Philly for a game earlier that afternoon. Anyways, I was too shy to go over to the table, but of course my mother goes running over there and says, "My son is your biggest fan (I was a Knicks fan who hated both Philly and Boston, but I digress), can I have your autographs?" They were both really nice and signed a menu.

This is all a huge preamble to me saying that those two men had more food stacked on their table than I've ever seen two people have on a table at one time (before or since). I doubt Barkley is eating at Subway, unless he's getting three or four footlongs at a time.

Has any of you ever purchased or eaten anywhere based on a famous person in a commercial? I imagine most people don't

Hated Barkley for a long time because of this incident at the Meadowlands... I've forgiven him. Now he makes me laugh like crazy.

He is a really nice guy who likes to discuss/debate sports topics.

Charles stayed at the Seaview hotel each summer. I was there on business for 80 nights per year.
He was playing golf for a few days at Seaview Hotel (72 holes) with a few college/pro basketball players around the same time each summer.

He bought a round of drinks one time for several persons at the bar because he was enjoying the sports conversation. Charles has strong opinions but backed them up with facts.

FYI: I also spoke to Eddie Jordan at the hotel before/after his coaching tenor. He is another nice guy.
I told him that old time Rutgers fans still loved him because no one wanted the Rutgers basketball job (program was a disaster). But he was a loyal son of Rutgers, so he agreed to take the coaches job and fall on the Rutgers sword!
