Wish I still lived in Missouri. Doubt I'll find any in Los Angeles . I went out with my father-in-law a few years ago, and it was a great time. Definitely did not come back with 10 lbs though, maybe a 1/2 lb, if that.

Looked last weekend up north along the Missouri on the South Dakota border. None to be found yet. Also it has been extremely dry there.

Off and on for over a week. Next couple days will be good before they start shriveling up. Too bad I can't get out until Sunday.

My roommates had a bunch of them the other day in the Omaha area. Not sure where they looked.

Found 36 in my side yard last week. Fried them up and served them with a ribeye. Delish

I've had a few people tell me they are cleaning up down here in Missouri. I've also seen quite a few trucks out on the highways selling by the pound.

Weird. Was talking to a guy I work with about this today. He was telling me how difficult it's been lately and how he went out the other day and got just a couple. Maybe it hasn't been warm enough. I wouldn't lose patience yet with it.
