Wow...taking a shot with.....

Dan Meagher

[BuckinElkin!!]

Shavlick Randolph?

[dukedevilz]

Not Meagher or Shav. Dan Meagher was close with 7 DQ's in one season.

[dbav]

Chris Carawell.

[hart2chesson]

Brian Zoubek

[BuckinElkin!!]

I think I got Shav confused, he led the world in pump fakes, not dq's.

[BuckinElkin!!]

Newton...

[hart2chesson]

Good candidate...

[skysdad]

Marshall Plumlee. OFC

[dukedevilz]

Lots of good guesses, but no one yet. This guy got the bulk of his playing time during his freshman year. Some people referred to him as DQ that year.

[BuckinElkin!!]

DQ does not ring a bell with me...

Domzalski?

[dukedevilz]

DQ for Disqualification. But, you got it Buckin! Taymon Domzalski fouled out 9 times during the 96 season - he averaged 3.6 fouls per game.

Just think, if he had gone to Virginia, he'd probably have a statute by now. Oh, Pete Gillen, you slay me.

[hart2chesson]

Always liked Taymon....Remember a breakaway jam he had up at College Park that nearly tore the backboard off!! That guy was a STUD!!!

Buckin' Rocks!

[dukedevilz]

I loved Taymon. He unfortunately had his injury issues - and then he had to deal with more talented bigs in the likes of Brand, Battier, McLeod, and even Burgess. He was a very solid player, though. Had a terrific freshman campaign.

[BuckinElkin!!]

Taymon is a Dr now if my memory is correct.

[BuckinElkin!!]

What former Duke player ranks highest on the All Time NBA scoring list?

[hart2chesson]

Jeff Mullins

OFC

[dukedevilz]

Elton Brand

[BuckinElkin!!]

Neither of those.

[DiehardDukeFan4Life]

Grant Hill

[hart2chesson]

Redick

OFC

[dbav]

Battier based on length of career.

[dukedevilz]

If not Brand, Hill would be my next guess. He's taken. A long-shot who had some decent scoring years would be Corey Maggette.

[BuckinElkin!!]

Hill is correct.

[hart2chesson]

Diehard rolls!!!

OFC

[DiehardDukeFan4Life]

Sorry for the delay I just saw that I got the question correct. Here's a slightly different sports question. How many individual records did Wayne Gretzky hold when he retired?

[dbav]

4

[dukedevilz]

I would guess it's inordinately high like 47 or so.

[DiehardDukeFan4Life]

I would guess it's inordinately high like 47 or so.

You're close so if there are no more guesses in the next little while with a correct answer then I'll give it to whoever is closest

[DiehardDukeFan4Life]

Since there haven't been anymore guesses and you were pretty close you're up dukedevils. The answer is 55.

[dukedevilz]

Maybe you could ask another one, Diehard? I'm getting ready to leave town for the next week. I'd probably keep you guys waiting for excessive periods... 55 records is obscene, but he is the great one after all.

Ok dukedevilz. I'll ask another one. Cam Newton set a new franchise record for passing TDs in Panthers history earlier this season, whose record did he break?

[hart2chesson]

Kerry Collins

OFC

[dbav]

Steve Buerlein.

[DiehardDukeFan4Life]

It's not either of those

[hart2chesson]

Jake Delhomme

OFC

[DiehardDukeFan4Life]

You got it hart. Delhomme held the Panthers passing TD record with 120 passing TDs until Cam passed him earlier this season. You're up.

[dbav]

I can't believe Delhomme had that many. How about that?

[hart2chesson]

Name the captain(s) for Coach K's first ever final four team in '86....
