That was the reason for my horrid start Wednesday. I didnt have either.
You still hit the ball real well.

Speaking of Mercer Oaks East, played there last Monday. Both courses are nice and a great clubhouse. Shot an 80. My brother lives in Hightstown and that is his regular course. I usually play there 2-3 times a year with him. I live here in Bergen County and we need to step up our clubhouses here. Good thing the courses are good though.
Not on the first hole. I just hit it a lot [roll]Hit it short enough not to lose a ball so I had that going for me! From the 3rd hole on and finally my second cold one I was back in the groove. And the Texas wedge on 2 got me going! Lol.You still hit the ball real well.
I agree. I have never watched a PGA tour event looking at the leader board and asking myself who the hell most of those guys are. It’s a terrible field. This is the worst field I’ve seen at a televised PGA Tour event in quite some time. Even if Tiger should win tomorrow ( low prob) it won’t mean much against this field of extreme no names.
What raises an eyebrow with me is that Tiger could not convince any of the top tour players ( other than Ricky Fowler) to play in his tourney that he is hosting. That may tell us plenty about Tigers current reputation among the top tour players.
Tiger doesn’t look close to winning anything at this point. The next Euro Tour event is not willing to pay Tiger an appearance fee so he is not going. But they are paying appearance fees to others instead. So when does he play the next Tour event before the British Open? Or maybe he doesn’t play before the Open?
Unless Tiger gets hot later this season he looks more like a side show than a guy who is competing to win a tour event.
Fransesco Molinari is a big time golfer who hasn't broken through on the PGA Tour...yet. Still plays both. When he breaks that glass ceiling he will be a regular winner on the tour. 5 wins in Europe and 2nd in the PGA Championship last year. Dude has game.I agree. I have never watched a PGA tour event looking at the leader board and asking myself who the hell most of those guys are. It’s a terrible field.
Tiger not getting appearance fees is telling. The last thing he needs to lose is his marketability, whatever there is left of it.
Tiger losing his marketability? Now you really sound stupid. Sorry for the name calling but you deserved it with that comment. I mean Tiger is so marketable, he could probably pulled off Phil’s stupid shirt.I agree. If it’s true he didn’t get paid an appearance fee, his marketability is going the same way as his game.Tiger losing his marketability? Now you really sound stupid. PGA does not pay appearance fees. Nor can a single tourament. The sponsor can work an endorsement deal which requires to play. I don't know of any endorsement deal by Quicken Loans and Tiger so he gets nothing extra. If it’s true he didn’t get paid an appearance fee, his marketability is going the same way as his game.
Just look at it the crowd for Tiger compared to the last group. He’s not marketable at all.
Who else in that tournament was worth following? I would hope he has crowds since it was his tournament.Just look at it the crowd for Tiger compared to the last group. He’s not marketable at all.
Looks like another top 5 for Tiger. Not competitive at all, lol. He'll win soon, assuming he stays healthy. Molinari is simply on fire, 9 strokes ahead of the field and -6 through 5 on the back and -8 through 13.
Most people watch NASCAR for the crashes. That pretty much describes Tiger right now.I am one guy. But I haven't watched one hole of golf while Tiger was out. Now that he's back, I've watched almost every tournament he's played. Again, just one guy, but I don't think I'm alone on this one.
You're dead wrong here. I'm not watching to see him crash. I'm watching to see him inevitably break through and win. And I believe he will. Most people watch NASCAR for the crashes. That pretty much describes Tiger right now.
I'm with you there Mike. Love watching golf (it's like meditation) and don't need Tiger to enjoy. It's just a bonus to have this aging, more-human legend out there competing, and he is competing at a top level despite what some want to believe. In no way is it a side show (well I get he gets too much coverage to some). Not saying he's near the Tiger of old or ever will be, but he's clawing his way back up the rankings and it simply makes the game more entertaining. Period. You're dead wrong here. I guess they figure it’s his only chance to win an event. It’s like watching an old timers game. Pure nostalgia. If they really wanted a good match, have him go against DJ.Tiger and Phil in negotiations to play in a made-for-TV, winner take all, $10MM match-play exhibition. But nobody cares about Tiger anymore, lol. Would be really cool if they could play Augusta, Pebble or some other iconic course, but they were talking about playing somewhere in Vegas.

Yes, because Tiger and Phil are both struggling for money. Com’on man! Are you watching the tournament this week in WVA? Crowd is no where near last week.I guess they figure it’s his only chance to win an event. It’s like watching an old timers game. Pure nostalgia. Have you ever been to the The Greenbriar? If so you would know why the crowds are smaller compared to last weeks location.Yes, because Tiger and Phil are both struggling for money. Com’on man! Are you watching the tournament this week in WVA? Crowd is no where near last week.

It reminds me of when Tiger dominated and Davis Love III would crap his pants when going against Tiger. Reality is that Tiger is in the DLIII role now.DJ would destroy him. Like he did when they played together at that last tourney. That was embarrassing for Tiger. DJ is the epitome of the modern golfer. Tiger is what modern golf used to look like.
It is in the middle of nowhere with bad roads in and out. Great place. Hard to get tooHave you ever been to the The Greenbriar? If so you would know why the crowds are smaller compared to last weeks location.
Heard the same. Don't know how much they will put up but a TV gold mineHey I heard Tiger and Mickelson are going to play for $10M.
Please let this happen.
$10M. Brutha.Heard the same. Don't know how much they will put up but a TV gold mine
Totally need Cali and Anti-Cali forces to bet on this.$10M. Brutha.
They have to put up personal cash to make it exciting$10M. Brutha.
We know Phil would do this, but will Tiger? Would be must see TV if personal funds on the line. They have to put up personal cash to make it exciting
Except Tiger would actually win the tournament. DJ had 2 good days and 2 terrible days. Better check your reality. It reminds me of when Tiger dominated and Davis Love III would crap his pants when going against Tiger. Reality is that Tiger is in the DLIII role now.
Nope, but bet you if Tiger was there, you get a bigger crowd.Have you ever been to the The Greenbriar? If so you would know why the crowds are smaller compared to last weeks location.
I think they are. They have to put up personal cash to make it exciting
Google Shells wonderful world of golfI’m kind of late to the show for golf as I’ve only gotten into the sport over the past 3-4 years. I would still like to watch the match but would’ve liked to see a few other big names involved also
Loved those as a kid...Google Shells wonderful world of golf
