A 100% healthy Tiger now won't be able to compete consistently on tour any more. It's the next generations tour now.
You're original prediction. Now you've created a new category in PGA Tour Golf, a guy who finishes in the top ten, week after week, but can't win. Of course, there is no such category and suggesting so, is nothing short of preposterous to anyone who knows the game, even a little.

But keep going. I know how much you enjoy, for some strange, unknown reason, being consistently and vociferously, wrong.

Mostly agree. The last 2 tourneys he looks as good as all of the top players.

At this point I would not bet against him winning any tourney he plays in. And I’m a Tiger hater.
Tiger is two shots behind and one of his birdie putts hit the flag and bounced out.One poor drive resulted in a bogie.

Tiger in the top 5 again. 2nd week in row. Nice leaderboard with McElroy (playing well !) Rose, and Stenson. He's hitting the ball as far as the younger guys too. Masters will have record ratings, with a healthy Tiger playing well again, Phil coming off a win, Johnson (w Gretsky in tow) playing great, and all the other story lines.
Weak field. B list at best. He can't compete with stars.

Not just a bogey but a bogey on the easiest hole on the course. It was like dropping 2 shots.

To Tiger's credit he refused to accept any excuse. Said he had 3 options on the tee at 16 and chose the wrong one.

Heck of a round for Rory. -8 for the day ! As fast as these guys lose their edge, they sometimes find a way and it comes back. Rory was missing cuts a few weeks ago, now he looked like the best player on the planet.

And even though Tiger had a bad couple holes coming into the clubhouse, he shot a 69 , made the top 5 after being at 14th on Friday night. He's pretty close to winning again. The Masters is going to be interesting.

The Rory's of the world are why Tiger will never win another major. They are just much better than him now. A number of them.

Golf is the real winner. Guys shooting 65 and 64 on the final day to win. Tiger is bringing out the best in all of them.

Back on tour. But not what he once was. Good for nostalgia though, I'm not really into that. Glad you are though. Enjoy it!

No one dominates the tour or majors. Any player can get hot and win any given week...including Woods.

Just look up the last 20 major winners.

Tied with Fat Phil, the 2017 US Open winner, two behind the Masters winner and the guy who won the PGA Championship on the same course, last August. I guess he will never win again because some high handicap Clown keeps typing it into a message board.

I was going to bring back the thread but figured it was a dead issue.

Apparently Tiger couldn't make a 5-10 foot putt Friday to save his life except on his 18th hole to secure a spot on the weekend.

That is one tough looking golf course.

He's driving and hitting his new irons well this week, now it's the putter giving him fits on te new greens at Quail Hollow. IMO, He's going to win this year and contend in the majors as well. As long as his back holds up.

Short game goes first. Playing out as suspected.

We all know how Phil can have tremendous highs and lows hole by hole. That said he's 6 under for his round after 13.

Yet, you call others fanboys. Pretty sure you follow Tiger more than most here. Keep me updated. I have kids activities all day and can’t watch on TV.

I follow him insomuch as I have money on him not winning and I plan on collecting.

And even then I don't follow him as much as the man love he gets on this thread. You might be the President of the club.

Someone named Bryce Garnett went into today's round at +3 for the tourney. Finished +20 after shooting an 88.

Who the heck is Peter Uihlein?
Played in college at Oklahoma St with Ricky Fowler, Morgan Hoffman and some other tour pros. His father Wally is the head of Titleist. I think he won the US Amateur at Chambers Bay. I think that was the first big tournament at that course. He decided to play on the Euro tour. Good talent.

Thanks guys. Probably have seen this guy early on a Sunday on the golf channel and just didn't realize it.

Back to back water balls from the last group. Guessing the course is pushing back today. Tiger said he didn’t play well. But he still made the cut and got the rounds under his belt.
