I wouldn’t count out Phil, he is having a very solid year so far. In five tournaments in the 2018 season, he has placed 5th, 2nd and 6th. Tiger is far far far far off from that type of success.

But we are seeing late errors in all those tournaments. A sign that he has regressed to his very early years. He has a better shot but he doesn't play a big schedule either.

So far today he's hitting a lot fairways and greens, but just missing on his putts. Opposite of a few weeks ago. He's missed a ton of 10-15 footers, make a few and he's in the top 3 probably, right now he's tied for 9th at -3, and not that far back, making 4 or 5 strokes.

What does that have to do with anything?? No one is disputing that he was the best (or one of the) best golfers of all time before he would have used PEDs. Something about his psyche made him want to do even more and he made the mistake of bulking up, which wouldn't have been a good idea for a golfer even if it was natural (which it wasn't).

It's similar to Barry Bonds, who was already a HOF baseball player before he started taking things that increased his head and feet size as well as his muscles.

I said him healthy will make cuts. He will likely win some small tourney, which this wasn’t even. Too old, too many good golfers. His time has come and gone. It was a great run. He is a nice addition to the field. Gets people talking about golf a little more, and no one wants to see people go out injured.

You said he wouldn't win another major, period. But your bet isn't that. You backed away. You are the ***** by changing the bet. Stand by your original statement. Year by year reset totally favors you. Make it a 5 year bet. If he never wins another in 5 years you get a $100. You pay a $100 for each one he wins in the next 5 years.

I didn't see that quote you responded to, which is ridiculously wrong. Tiger was dominating as a skinny kid. To say his whole career was because of cheating is stupid.

If anything, it looks like he got to a status of being in a pair with Nicklaus as best ever without cheating, then wrecked his body trying to keep/exceed that status once some injuries/age started making it harder to dominate.

All I see is you guys saying Tiger is back. If he is back, the dude previously won 14 majors. Your odds should be pretty good if he is truely back.
