Distribution starts October 1, going out on successive weeks until everyone gets their check, if they qualify. Salary up to $150,000 annually gets $1,500 between $150,000 and $250,000 gets $1,000. Nothing above $250,000.

How much are you getting?
In October I’m guessing?
The letter didn't say. It was mostly about confirming my bank account information, and updating it if the one they have on record was closed.

edit- so it will be 1,500. It almost offsets the tax increase that was a little over 1,500.

It’s $250K household income right? And I believe it’s off of the 2021 year

Is this for individuals? Married couples so joint salary?

I don't think they draw a distinction, I believe it is based on "household" income.

We always filed ours in the past but haven't received anything in the mail for them this year, and I read that some are now automatically filed.
I'm assuming if I haven't received anything in the mail yet, they'll either be automatically filed, or we don't qualify for it anymore?

They have been automated last year or so. You can Google a site to find your status but you're most likely just fine unless your income changed that much in 2022 vs. 2021? (And you should know the answer to that). I think that is the current base year in NJ.. a payment for 2023 made in 2024 for income based in 2022 ( or something as crazy as that lol)

I received a letter letting me know it would be filed for me. It was and received the payment a few days ago. You can check status online.

My sister got a letter last year stating she was automatically enrolled. This year she did not receive a letter so she called (took forever) and the person said she needed to fill out the online form. When my sister asked why she had to reapply, the person said people are randomly chosen to not be automatically re-enrolled.

Coincidentally, anchoring/mooring at the 79th st Boat Basin cost about $1,500 for a six month season. You could live on board and sale down to Florida for six months. They suddenly have a lot of available dockage.
