I had it happening to my phone and it turned out that it was some video player add-on I had installed. This site on my phone had given me a message that I needed some kind of player, and once I removed that it stopped.The player was never necessary, it's just a trick to serve ads to your phone.

There's an app called AppBrain Ad Detector that I used to assist.
