I find it hilarious that itโ€™s on Valentines Day this season. Thatโ€™s gonna be quite a conflict for many dudes. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Are your trying to get a stake in the ground to beat someone else to the punch?

May I suggest that you rename the thread OFFICIAL 2027 Super Bowl Thread? ๐Ÿ˜œ

I'm lucky my wife doesn't get carried away with such things but there are many women who will see this as a BIG problem
Yes, agree. But the flip side is that many women are into football. There's a place I go to in Gillette to grab a bite to eat during the season. They have all the games and I see plenty of women there with their teams' jerseys on. Super Bowl has also become such a big thing with the parties, the ads, halftime show, etc. that some may make an exception this year.

Not a big deal. Just go out Saturday instead or do brunch.
Or find a side piece who likes football!
And what is the name of this place in Gillette?

EDIT- we watch the Super Bowl together every year in our house, at least through the half time show.

If you have a woman who wants to do Valentines Day stuff at all, much less during the SB, you need to get a new woman. That's gay.

Ha, I made my future wife a Rutgers Football and Giants fan back in 2006. She knew nothing about football and graduated from Rutgers. Hell, she didn't even know where the stadium was and learned the game by reading a book and my tutelage. Became a huge fan of both.

Man, did I bamboozle her, she thought the goods times were going to roll forever. Little did she know, the misery she was in store for.

Get in your Sports Bar "romantic" dining reservations now! "But Honey, I LOVE football"
Just tell the wife you're raking her to a "Special" Valentine's Day Party and find a Hotel having one .
Then reserve a room for the night at the place , making her feel it will be a romantic get-away.
That way if she doesn't mind seeing the game instead of being wined and dined , you are in for romance Valentine's Night .
If she gets pissed about the party and goes home, you have a bed to sleep in after the game is over and the partying stops
