Fox issue is the FS1 BTN slots and match ups
in the NYC and Philadelphia mkt, no way Rutgers should be playing on FS1 or BTN. the IU game proves that......
is it really that shocking. Indiana even with a national championship is not a sexy name for viewers. Its still going to be about the NAMES unless an Indiana is playing another name school. Matched up against all those other games why would anyone want to tune into a bloodbathshockingly low tv rating

They have to put something live on BTN. Live content is king.Fox issue is the FS1 BTN slots and match ups

true but in those markets, you don't put IU vs Rutgers on BTN. It's IU's lowest rated game all year at 500k. ESPiN does it smart and coordinates the matchups with other likely viewing options. They have to put something live on BTN. Live content is king.
International. BTN is available in Canada.BTN is a national channel. I don't think you can delineate markets.
correct however, BTN consistently delivers lower ratings that are less than the major networks for the same teams. BIG has a BTN problem and it's not distributionBTN is a national channel. I don't think you can delineate markets.
Rutgers vs MD was less than 200k just wow
those are horrific numbers...doing just over half that no illinois wyoming did![]()
I don't see it on the chart but google says RU Maryland did 110K
just an appalling number and to think, 2yrs ago we averaged almost 1mmWaiting for Al to say "They outdrew Georgia St. - James Madison!!!"
