I just saw that, that’s crazy. It also shows you that it’s just in the blood of some of these guys if they can’t find an outlet. Just like Mora at UConn. They just want to coach. Would UNC replace one 70+ coach for another lol….that for sure would be a first haha. Maybe set up his son for the job after.

No, he doesn't have a sincere interest in coaching in college. He does have an interest in coaching but when the phone wasn't ringing (or, worse, it's only from the NFL bottom-feeders), he thought it might be best to take a flyer on a college team that he doesn't have to rebuild from scratch.

There is information out there that part of the BB negotiation with UNC, is that if he takes the job, his son Stephen (Wash DC) would be the HC in waiting once Bill left. Doubt all this is going to happen.
I read something like that and if Bill didn't do a good job, Steve wouldn't get the job.
Steve's better off on his own and not try to ride daddy's coat-tail for a HC position

Exactly why I said that lol. He’s a candidate but if he doesn’t get it, a statement like that gives him some insulation.
I’m surprised by the hire. I thought one of the G5 names or a coordinator like Will Stein (would have to wait for him) might have more potential but we’ll see how he does. RichRod was the return I was expecting not Frost.
I read some of the money saved on Gundys’s restructuring will go to NIL for the school to pay players.
