I would not be shocked if it’s because Calloway has had degrom throw 115 pitches twice so far including in a game when they were up 9-1 vs Marlins in 2nd game of year. Said to myself wtf when this was happening.

How can you think they were going to have a great start with 12 guys on the IL??
As far as posting I don't post everyday on that thread win or lose. Mostly I post when it's an outstanding/ effort like Paxton the other night when he was on fire. Or the shortest Yanks Sox in 30 years.
Win or lose there is really nothing so far this year to praise or complain about Boone. So that's not an everyday topic. They aren't hitting which is a part of the IL and their general makeup.
Mets fans posting everyday doesn't make them better fans just bigger complainers [winking]
Wasn't really pointing a finger at you, just Yankee front running fans in general. Injuries are a major part of the game, some years really suck more than others. Looking like deGrom could be out a long time.

I don't usually pick a Met game to watch when the Yankees aren't on but a fan of deGrom and always tune in. He has moxie.
Watched Arrieta live Wednesday. My first time seeing him in person. Brilliant. Great players are worth the price of admission.

You can tell that from the fact there are, like every year,5 times as many posts and views in Mets threads as there are Yankee threads.I haven't posted in the Yankee thread in 2 months, yet Yankee fans are all over the Mets threads.I'm guessing it's boring as **** over there until they start winning. Do any of you guys feel you brought on bad karma by always mocking on the Mets injures over the years only to see it come baCK TO BITE YOU IN THE ***?
Honestly, if you took out the posts that are troll posts from the Yankee fans and the bitching ones from the Mets fans you'd probably trim at least 5-6 pages off this thread.

I only want to participate in a baseball thread when there's something interesting to say. Most everyone on this board just seems like they want to hear themselves talk, hence people with 27,000 posts and a cesspool of current event talk.

Don't be surprised if Gio Gonzalez starts for the Mets next week. He has the right to opt out of his Yankees contract tomorrow and is expected to do so. If he does, the Yankees have 48 hours to promote him, else he becomes a free agent. Gio was scheduled to start tonight for Scranton and the Mets sent a scout, unfortunately the game was rained out.

He had Tommy John in 2011 and had surgery to move his nerve in 2015?

So Mets fans should be nervous - he pitched like **** his last 2 starts and just owned up to his elbow felt like crap like any other guy would do. Hey it will get better and it didn't so he is done for the year.
imo

Hey he seems like a nice guy and just signed 125 million contract so he doesnt want to let the team down so he has been hurting for awhile.

Degrom actually threw today. Said he felt fine. Still will be examined by doctor but maybe no mri necessary. Degrom is confident he pitches on Friday. Please get mri done just to be safe and sure.
Just get the MRI done so that there is A BETTER CHANCE OF CATCHING SOMETHING instead of snapping his arm off because he felt fine enough to pitch.
