Lefty loosy righty tighty. Hop on a forum or Facebook group to help you diagnose then go to YouTube for a step by step video tutorial. But I second the Taylor recommendation if that’s the route you need to go.

The joy of owning those 50's and 60's trucks is being able to work on it. Unless it needs an overhaul/bore taking it to a shop gets super expensive. They have to be loved and tinkered on all the time.
