The betting favorite has won every game thus far in the tournament before we go making too many other assumptions.
Yeah, won, UT did not cover today. But all the other favorites have covered so far.

Dillon Gabriel was a 6 year starter and OSU has a 20M+ payroll. That's the state of the union in 2025

So much for Knight and the open check book. Money well spent lol
Not to be "dark" about it but what happens when he dies? I mean, he IS the tie to the ducks, not Nike, right? I would imagine that money dries up really fast.

One can only hope.

edit - about the money drying up not for Knight dying.

I love this for gamblers and this is why "vegas" and others will push for 16 teams. The more games, the more dogs that can cover.

A third Texas v Georgia game is still possible. Would be a completely soulless NC game.

OSU vs UGA in my bracket. Made all the right picks so far.

ASU v Tex was a remarkable game. Tex did everything they could to lose. I think Sark needs to get better in big games. Some of his decisions were terrible. I think they’re a very good team when they try to run. They barely tried to run this game. It was odd
OSU keeps playing like that and they’ll win by 17+ for the next two

Announcers said Sark was yelling at his OC on that early 4th and 2 they barely converted on the out route. Dumb play calling throughout the game and Ewers did not impress me. Even his TD throws were short, his guys were just wide open

I liked the weather during the bowl game...it was neat watching them slide 20 ft, shows the speed they are moving at sometimes.

A 2 loss team who didn't play for their conference title or a 1 loss team that lost to NIU is gonna be your national champion. Congratulations on ruining college football.
Totally disagree. The 12 team Playoff now gives teams with one bad game or mis step another chance. It's not the popularity contest it used to be. It's put up or shut up where the NC team now has to win 4 games to hoist the trophy. Love it

I agree. Think of the differences in schedule. OSU had to play at Oregon, at PSU and got Indiana at home. The other teams in the Big 10 didn't have to go through what OSU did. Georgia also played a tough schedule in the SEC. It's just more NFL like now which I could see turning people off.

Could setup a billion dollar foundation that poured tens of millions in just dividends into the ducks forever.

Amazing when you use your roster full of five stars to it's fullest instead of trying to play Tressel ball against a team that can only play that way. Day got his panties in a bunch and tried to play bully ball when he has a barn full of stallions not rhinos.

I don't know how to put a game plan together, but if I was getting paid ten million a year and given an NFL roster I think I would just play to the speed. Back in the old B1G Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State were built to play big and slow. It's one of the reasons they got their doors blown off against USC, Florida, LSU, Georgia and Texas.

When Ohio State hired Urban Meyer and he began hitting Florida, Georgia, and Texas everything changed. Ohio , Pennsylvania and the Chicago area are the Midwestern areas that provide a lot of talent, but if you want speed you gotta go down south.

Programs like Iowa, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Illinois and Minnesota don't get those guys. When Callihan and Riley were hired they tried to get California receivers to implement their West coast offenses. But it didn't work because they neglected line play.
