It was absolutely a left shoulder injury. It is the same one he has injured in the past and he has had surgery on it years ago.
He was underneath the tall and lanky ISU wrestler who circled to Boo's left and Boo reached his left arm out to block him at his thigh and as the ISU wrestler kept circling, Boo posting that left arm out there to stop him caused it to slip out. Shoulders that have dislocated like his are notorious for being very easy to dislocate again. Absolutely heartbreaking. I'm sure he will try to get a medical redshirt and compete again but John said in his post-match interview that he thinks Boo may be done. Found it on teamusa.org.
