3rd time this year we have had a crap targeting rule call, look at what happened to nebraska. that rule needs chnaged

Completely agree. The NC game last year was the OSU/Bama semi. And the NC game this year should be the same.

Obvious targeting. No way you can argue that call. And I like the rule. That hit was using his helmet as a weapon and is not a necessary part of football. Ask our new head coach what he thinks of it. He teaches the rugby style tackling.

I get not liking the rule but Bosa led with the crown of his head. The rule exists for his protection as much as the player he hit. I do think there should be warnings as opposed to outright ejections though.

I don't like the targeting rule, as written. But, as written, the call was clearly valid.

Hopefully, OSU will still crush ND.

Really? You don't understand why passionate fans on a message board would choose to be optimistic, and look at things from a glass half-full perspective, regarding our new head coach, before he ever coaches a game? There will be plenty of time to be overly critical once the games start.

I thought the targeting call was legit, BUT they are very inconsistent . Yesterday I saw a player go head first AT the other players facemask, and there was no call.

I think the latter is a much more dangerous play.

Every time we have a 4 dwn series and they don;t hand off to zeke at least once I want to hit Beck in the face with a bat.

Hopefully he will get the best out of them and coach them up to their full potential. We'll find out soon enough.

Without Bosa, Washington, and schutt. The guys who normally rotate in are having to start and guys who haven't played are rotating in.

Actually they said that the OSU was ready for that play due to the work by Luke Fickell and coach Ash the new RU coach.

It wasn't exactly anything to write home about and Ash was mentioned after Fickell.

So where are all the people raving about the Publicity RU was to get?????

OSU offense gets too cute sometimes. With that offensive line and a running back like Elliot, just give him the damn ball.

If telling the truth and exactly what was said is being negative then guilty as charged.

If being someone who has their head buried in the sand makes you feel better than I am happy for you.

But so far every single excuse for Ash coaching for OSU has fizzled. No air time, not being shown on TV, no talk of what a great coach he is, NONE OF it.

Hiring a comedian to be the DL coach as opposed to someone like Pangos is a mistake. Sometimes the truth hurts.

Were you one of the people booing Laviano during the Maryland game? I wasn't! Who is the real fan?

They literally just showed him up in the booth and announced him as "Chris Ash new HC for Rutgers" about 2 min ago.
