Probably not what they were coached to do, but the result was probably the best for OSU. At least it gives them time to reply.
Ohio St guys playing close to stop Lawrence, left midfield open. Lawrence running has been what's killed OSU (aside from sketchy penalties). Meanwhile OSU QB playing in leg irons . I had no idea the kid was hurt.
Why Ohio State loses (lost):
- couldn’t score in red zone in first half
- undisciplined penalties at end of first half
- Day was outcoached from 2nd quarter on. He took his foot off pedal
- Chase Young was manhandled and exposed.
- Trevor Lawrence is a beast

Why not bring in fields there? That's a more legit threat. You're willing to take 5 yard penalty but also may be you take the shot?

Don’t know why any of the bigger programs don’t try to go after Venables. Never hear his name much with regards to jobs....if a Pruitt or Smart can get jobs not sure why he doesn’t get a shot.
You can also add that OSU's defense turned Trevor Lawrence into Michael Vick.
Yes and no. The WR screwed up there and caused the pick. Maybe he should have run it there but the pass was where it should have been.
No I'm talking about having a starting CB kicked out of the game. Not only did it turn momentum around but the back-up was a minus all night long. Then you had a TD scratched when a catch with two hands and no bobble was deemed an incompletion

Tackling him at 5-yd line would have been a guaranteed loss. Letting him go allowed for a drive into the red zone, ending when a wide receiver broke off the route quarterback was throwing to.
HAHA the moment they put UM on the screen, is when OSU season ends.
