And they totally ignored the illegal hands to the face and facemask against Chase Young. Damn near took his helmet off.

If Clemson scores a TD, they'll go for 2 to make it a one score game. The ACC plays that way.

So funny the different pov in that call. Just interesting how I saw it so clear and so did others of opposite opinion.

Plus Clemson gets the ball to start the 2nd half. OSU needs at least another FG here before halftime.

At first I didn't think it was PI but on reply it was. He was holding him pretty good.

OSU red zone offense is why this is a game. Should be way up. Dobbins great runner but 2 drops were big.

If the QB doesn't dip his head and body into the play it's a square hit to the chest. Lawrence lowered his body position right before the hit.

Yea they did miss that but that was targeting imo...I’ve seen similar called as targeting even if the tackled player head is lowered because the defender is also lowering his head and not keeping his head up.

OSU needs to convert kicks to Tds. We've all seen this scenario before. Own the half yet 9 instead of 2 plus scores.

Dobbins has a couple of big runs, and several bonehead plays and runs into the wash for no gain. The game ain't over, son.

But I believe crown of the helmet hit ..leading with the helmet... Is still targeting. Guy never had his hands close to a wrap.

Momentum spun on that targeting call, then pass interference got them in position to score.

Guy is coming flying in, naturally "leading with his head." The QB saw him coming and lowered his shoulder and dipped his head to meet the contact. What could the defender do? He committed to a spot lower than the head and that's all he can do. If the offensive player lowers into that contact zone, how is it the defenders fault? What if the QB had instead, jumped up? No flag. Moved laterally right, no flag...BS call. Changed the whole complexion of the game.

Clemson has adjusted their D with Fields not much of a running threat tonight. His injury takes away a major dimension from OSU's O.

Your first sentence nailed it. You cannot ever come flying in leading with the crown of your helmet. Period. Anymore.
Head up, facemask first, arms out? Yes.
Its the old version of spearing.
I'm a hard *** d first guy. But I get that call.
