When I lived in Lexington in the early 90s I used to walk to his sports memorabilia shop on the day of the week the new edition of the catspause came out just to chat with Oscar a little bit.

When I was 10 years old I sold Hazard Herald newspapers door to door. Oscar was the sports editor. Great guy but obviously a bad cat to mess with

I am now 65

Where do the years go?

I always thought Oscar was too much of a homer; but, much respect for that beatdown

I half expect a courtside match with Oscar and Larry Vaught getting into it with Dakich at some point.:)

If Dakich has any sense, he will stay down and not try to get back up.

any of you ever watch that game in '84? dakich boxed mj out like one time. the refs and cheating dean is why mj scored so little. when he had the ball no one on iu really stopped him. least of all dan jokitch. if anyone on iu schooled mj that game it was steve alford.

Yeah it was off a side Rd close to nicholasville Rd. By a place called Coffee time would get my issue hot off the press gossip with Oscar a little and then stop for a cup of mocha joe and read my cats pause.

Oscar gave Big Blue Nation all kinds of ammunition to shove in Dakich's face. Any time he brings up the number one..."Oh, you mean like the number of points you scored against us in four years at IU?"
