Can’t really see much reason for him to come back. I don’t pay that much attention to NIL but will that honestly pay him more than the G league if that was the best he could do next season?

He gone. And he should be gone. He’ll be 23 years old next year, which is beyond the age when pro scouts start detracting from your pro potential equation, and his stock will never be higher than it is right now.

As much as I hate to lose him, it’s time for Oscar to move on. Thanks for all you did for us, big fella, we’ll never forget you and always cheer for you.

I don't want him here, he deserves better, my favorite player the last 20 yrs, maybe all time, he is a stud playing basketball, but his faith and determination to help his family, is by far more, something we haven't seen, Oscar thanks for being a wildcat, wildcat for life, this family BBN want forget you. Do what is best for your family, keep the faith, sorry we all let you down

If Oscar knows whats good for him he will get as far away from John Calipari's coaching as possible.
I get you're upset but the guy went from losing playing time at WVU to a NPOY under Cal. We're all upset but don't throw reason and logic out the window cuz your *** is chapped.

Please, Oscar, if you’ve got a chance to go then be selfish and go. There are no promises about the future and you did all you could this season. Thank you, but do what is best for you.

I don't know of a reason for any of these players to return to a place where they only get worse. If Dontaie is smart, he should be calling Kenny Payne now asking for a shooter's spot on the team.

Since Grady stopped shooting, we should have found a way to use Dontaie like St. P used their shooting specialist. Cal is too stubborn to do that. He has to prove that his way works. No other coach has done less with so much talent.

Oscar told me two weeks ago when we had dinner that he wasn’t coming back. Asked me not to say anything until the season was over.

it’s over now so I’m telling you. He’s not returning.
Wow talk about inside info …a guy that had dinner with him

He has to make sure cal is back. The next week will be interesting. When there is this level of disconnect between the coach and the fans usually there is a way to an amicable separation. Cal is vindictive though so idk. I know this UK isn’t Exxon or some other corporation and he needs to do the right thing for the school or cal will have a miserable life.

Cal got out coached and it was obvious. Refuses to go zone, even though we are getting torched back door ALL game long. Same ole song and dance.

How chapped would your *** need to be to realize this coach isn't getting it done? I'm thinking....surface of the moon.
I'm upset but I'm being reasonable. Cal rejuvenated Oscar's career and helped him become a NPOY when he was treading water at WVU so it's a bit disingenuous to suggest he should run from playing for Cal, whether you want Cal here or not is irrelevant to that point. Look past the anger and use some sense.

You're reading past the discussion point like everyone else. It's disingenuous to suggest he should run from playing for Cal after the difference in his play between the two college coaches he's had.
