He can go to the NBA, but it'll be on his own two feet. I wouldn't draft him. Love the dude to death, but the NBA is a business and Oscar in the NBA is nothing more than a high motor bench player for maybe ~5 years until his athleticism starts to decline.
He needs a handle. He needs a jumper. Without both, he'll never make it.
The NBA is AAU ball now. Markannen came into the league as a 7'0" C, and now he plays SF five years later. Why? Because he can handle the ball, and he has range out to 30ft.
You think Oscar is guarding Durant or Siakam or Randle or Kawhi? Those dudes are all PFs who can handle the rock with the best of them.
