First of all, Oregon’s been using alt Uniforms/ flashy uniforms since most of us late 30’s early 40’s“dads” were in high school / college. You act like it’s the modern trend that they just came up with and that everyone will be following. I didn’t think it was cool when I was 22 and sure as hell don’t now. Ducks have been doing this since at least the days of Joey Harrington. And even the days of them getting really crazy with it are a “long time ago” to recruits. Let this sink in, recruits today were like 9 years old when Blount punched that Boise state player. And anything that was “modern” or “cool” when I was 9 seemed way outdated when I was 18.
Secondly, Oregon did it as a gimmick, they use to be the bottom of the barrel and had to rely on crap like this. Really hasn’t helped them.
Also, classic never goes out of style. If anything, ducks uniforms are starting to seem dated. As in very 2000’s. That’s the great thing about NU’s, Penn State, Bama’s uniforms, the fact they look old makes them classic. And that never goes out of style. There is a difference between classic and dated. If you don’t understand it, then i have nothing for you
Lastly, Nike’s height was probably the 90s and guess what Mr Cool guy, Nebraska wore Adidas. Didn’t hurt us back then when Adidas was at it lowest. Sure as hell not going to hurt today when Adidas has actually gained a ton of popularity over Nike. TRY Reading. Try looking at the stock market. From GQ to Forbes, ever since Kayne partnerd with Adidas, they’ve actually gained a ton of market share. Why 24 or 25 top 25 teams have Nike contracts? Cause they probably have them dated back to the 90s.
My guess is that you are either really lame, dumb, a troll, or starting to get old and think your still at a cool age
