Could be, and this is pure speculation and based on my lack of respect for the NCAA oversight responses, very bad timing for Oregon. NCAA may be looking to come down hard on a program in order to move on from letting UNC of the hook. But, in the end they will probably get a slap on the wrist.

That occurred to me too. Hammer Oregon's Women's Track or Basketball to try to save face. Hey, RU is paying somewhat for a lot less too.

Level II violations that they self reported, minor slap on the wrist is what they'll probably get. The NCAA thinks they made everything right by punishing Northern Colorado
