I’m glad Haith is actually giving Special K some playing time. Haywood on the other hand…

We’re playing with intensity at both ends of the court. Can we sustain that for 40 minutes?

This is a good hard fought game going on. I’d like to extend the lead a bit though lol

The defensive issues really seem to have been all effort. So much better today
Much better than Saturday by far. We are shooting just shy of what we did on Wednesday. If we can play teams like this then we will be on the good side of a lot of games.

Frank slowed it down at 6 minute mark. Quit running our regular offense and took clock to under 10 seconds every time and gets horrible shot. He really can’t coach end of fame. Still thinks he has big10 players

It’s crunch time, who’s going to make the big shot for Tulsa, Horne, Griffin, someone else.

Don’t know why we don’t keep it in Horne or griffins hands right now.

And as I say that Idowu knocks down both fts

Horne with the double double at 17 and 10. Good finish for once. Idowu with 11 points and 8 boards, if he can keep that up this will be a different team. On to Daytona.

couldn't make it...did we come out for the national anthem? will have a real tough time coming to any game this season if that is our new standard.

Someone at TU, maybe the new President, has the NA playing at the 10:00 mark before the game when the teams are in the locker room. Air Force called TU's bluff and stayed out for the National Anthem and there was an empty area where TU should have been.

I’m ok with that, as it is probably to accommodate the TV schedule anyway. The blue hairs will get to have their anachronism and those who don’t want to participate will be in line for popcorn and beer.

Many remember fondly the singing of the National Anthem for TU basketball in the Nolan years. Paul Craft sang the National Anthem for most every University of Tulsa basketball game for 25 years.

Watching Special K again and he has some hops. Battling for rebounds and his defense looks pretty decent. His decision making on passing has a little left to be desired and he doesn’t shoot much but overall I like this guy

Me too. He has some deficiencies but he fights for rebounds.

I'm not what the "patriots" would call a "true patriot" but I stand respectfully and shut my hole during the anthem even though I think it's just some song that has nothing to do with whether I'm a good citizen. But I do it because my parents taught me manners, and that means that if it's no biggie to me and you value it, then I'll respect it. So I do. Same reason I use the pronouns that people want and say please and thank you to every server I deal with and wear a mask. Manners, respect other people. That said, I can't help but SMH when I see the "true patriots" taking a leak and talking to their buddies about the cheerleaders and maybe mumbling a few words of the anthem because they don't know most of them and then getting outraged that other people do exactly what they do. It's amazing how little respect there is for the anthem among everyone. I have a lot more respect for the people who sit in the locker room on some principle than for the guys who just can't be bother to give the anthem the time of day. The former at least stand for something, the latter are just disrespectful, ill-mannered losers.
