Since my eldest is an Oregon alum, I watched both the Cats and Ducks on two screens. Hats off to Oregon: they punished the OSU defense. I almost always pull for a B1G team, but this was the exception.
I don’t know how many here have visited the Oregon campus and gone to a game at Autzen (or a track event at Hayward Field) but it is a great experience. I try to go there once a year, and am planning on seeing Cal play at Oregon next month.
Since there were a bunch of disparaging comments about the PAC on this board a few months ago, I think the game today puts some of that criticism in perspective (Washington’s debacle last week notwithstanding). PAC 12 football is different, but not bad a lot of the time.

Colorado giving top 5 A&M all they can handle right now.

Buckeyes have a ton of four- and five-star players on their roster, and a bevy of highly compensated assistant coaches, yet their defense has constantly been caught out of position in many games last season and certainly in the first two this year. Oregon basically ran a simple student body left three times in a row for touchdowns with the running back barely getting touched by a Buckeye. They'd better hope Olave and their other talented receivers score a lot of TDs this season because they're likely to need them.

Yes, I told a friend from Oregon that the Ducks had a chance in this one because OSU defense looked vulnerable against Minnesota until Ibrahim went down and even then Morgan was able to move the team against them.

I've seen a couple games at Autzen (including one vs. Michigan State during the Marcus Mariota era) and it's very fun and very loud. Good tailgating scene too.

Hasn’t Autzen been scientifically proven as the loudest stadium in CFB? I’d love to take in a game there someday.

I think some others have beaten its numbers depending on when counted.

But Autzen is the best example of how to contain crowd noise and make people sound much louder; it's probably the only stadium that can hit the 125-135 decibel range with <60k fans.

Autzen's pretty much the showcase for containing noise.

My nephew, an architect and U of O grad still living in Eugene was thrilled by the Ducks big win at the ‘Shoe yesterday. I’ve been on campus a few times with him over the years- the athletic facilities are amazing, a benefit of Knight-fall.😊
