Exciting game, I just hope Duke loses.

Oregon's tallest player is 6'10", 190 lb. averaging 12 points, 7 rbs. I'm sure Issa Thiam will be fine at 6''9" , 190 playing forward, plus, he'll probably gain a lot once he gets on campus.

Watching more of Kansas - Maryland here. I have to keep reminding myself Maryland is now B1G and not ACC. A Kansas (assuming they pull this out - jinx?) - Villanova matchup would really light up the scoreboard. Oklahoma vs Oregon looks great on paper too if that comes to pass.

not sure what this has to do with the price of beans in China. Last time I checked Oregon isnt in the B1G. They are very good but they are built for the PAC12 not the daily grind in the B1G a much more physical league.

Just curious, who are the most physical teams in the B1G?

It's Dook, not Duke

Glad they lost!

Hate them (even though I really respect coach K for what he did for Jim Carr )

I'm also glad the Dookies bit the dust. I hope Indiana and Wisconsin or at least one of them can win today so that we can have at least one team advance.

Coach K is not a great coach when the talent is lacking.....lost by 82-68
That's laughable. That 2010 team had no business winning the title. Brian Zubek was their center. Duke just wasn't that good this year.

"exciting"? Not really.

I thought those 4 games were awful. Uninteresting, uninspiring, and almost un-watchable. At least the Maryland-KU game was tight in the 1st half.

Villanova looked terrific last night particularly in the second half when their defense was better. They have been shooting very well in the tournament and the problem is whether they can survive an off night against the teams left. If they can keep it up they will be a tough out. I am sure Kansas will try to take Arch out of the game which is a strategy that can be successful. Kansas looked strong as well but Maryland really had a long scoring drought in the second half. I was not sure if during that stretch if Tremble was hurting more than helping the cause.

I saw the clip on Grayson Allen and his habit of tripping players....dirty player. Another reason to hate Duke.
Saw that as well, and when it aired the unbiased announcers were saying "well, Duke is the type of program that half of the people love, the other half love to hate".........what? Has nothing to do with the fact that they just aired evidence the kid tries to trip opponents during the games. Here's what I want to here "well Jim, I can't see anyone condoning behavior like that; those are cheap shots, are a mark on any player and a program's reputation. Someone can really get hurt".

RU is in the B1G, but that does not mean we can't watch--and like--teams like Oregon that are trying to win the NCAA's. You sound as though the college basketball season ended when RU lost in the BIG tourney. It really didn't, and there are some fun teams to watch. Lift your focus just a little.

His point is that a certain body fit might be no issue in the Pac 12 but not well suited for the B1G. I don't know if that is true or not, but it was his point. The context is whether Thiam's body type will work well in the B1G.

I thought Maryland got worn down-----Kansas killed them off the glass in the 2nd Half and after knocking down 2 3's early they didn't shoot well in the last 30 minutes from 3.

Nova has just looked great------they went wire to wire against a darn good team and all tournament have shot lights out. They killed Miami on the glass and seemed to get every loose ball. Had an answer for every defense Miami threw at them.

Their key IMO has been Jenkins-----just killing it from 3 the last month.

If I'm Kansas I'm going right after Ochefu and try to get him in foul trouble.

The tournament becomes fun after Duke loses. It's a party once ND is out.

It's basketball not football. His body will be fine, and Oregon would compete very well in the B1G. That team has length and gets after on the d end.

Iowa, while disappointing to end the season and versus Villanova, competed pretty well in the Big10 even though they played a faster, less brutalizing style of play. The reputation that the Big10 is a conference of 52-51 games is a not really applicable anymore.

Magoo your party gets postponed for 48 hours-----but you can start printing the invitations for Sunday night.

We've had a great run but UNC is just way too good for us.

And if it was, that style ain't working.
