when was the last time we wore gray facemasks?

my wife picked out a kotex stripe uniform for our son for Christmas....and i told her he cant wear it....its that repulsive to me. we even got into an argument over it because the saleslady talked her into buying it saying "its what the players wear".....i was like "***** please". those things are the bane of my existence.
