Apparently, they like the chances of UMich, Illinois, & Iowa of upsetting them, with RU just as likely to win the whole thing as Wisky. Or at least trying to drive money to bet on those teams. Of the top 4 seeds, they seem to have the least amount of star-power and rely on being a team, while Ill can rely on Ayo/Cockburn, Mich St on Winston, and Maryland on Cowan/Smith.

Very happy to see my Knights in the middle of the pack, just as likely to win as half the conference. I am looking forward to the day when this list will piss me off if they are that low.

The general public isn't going to acknowledge Wisconsin, but you will always see Dallas Cowboys money in casinos and Michigan and Ohio State is the same way.

Obvious pick
Illinois at 10 to 1

Not so obvious pick
PSU 14 to 1

Other schools not worth the odds.

Feel like any of the "top 10" could win this year, but Penn State is in a bit of free fall. Losing three straight and five of six (only win was that gosh darn game versus us) is not the way to go in to this tournament.

I'll be a homer (why change now!!) and say we are the "not so obvious pick". Michigan-Wisconsin-Illinois/Iowa/Minny might be the "easiest" path to the Finals you could get this season.

A separate question...that is related....

Does pikiell coach these games any different?

Do we see more of that (awful, sorry) 2-3 zone?
Does Caleb get 15-20 minutes
Does Paul get 15-20?
Are all guys kept under 30?

Myles Johnson has the look (to me) like he had in the beginninh of the season. I don't want us to go to hard in these games.

No reason to coach these games any differently. We finished tied for 5th in this brutal conference, I cant see why you'd change now.

It does seem we have shortened the rotation (some) in the home stretch. Think Geo and Harper are locks for 30+, Yeboah, Mathis, Young and Myles likely for 25 (ish). Carter and Mulcahy should be in that 15-18 minute range. Would love to see Caleb get untracked in his opportunity.

I'm hopeful the fact no one was getting (even) 30 minutes for us for the bulk of the season has our guys a bit fresher than others who have been getting/grinding 32+ minutes per all year.

As an aside I think we are 2-3 point 'dogs on Thursday.

Go for it. Go all out to win each game you play. When you run out of gas, you run out of gas. Remember the year UConn won five games in five days to win the Big East tournament and then went on to win the NCAA Tournament. Pike learned under that guy.

lots of parity in the B10 this year with most of the top 10 seeds having beaten at least 1 of the 3 co-champs at least once this year. Think about it, RU beat both Wisky and MD at home and played them tough on the road. So there is a chance RU can beat them on a neutral court if given the opportunity.

Multiple Big 10 teams have been in the top 10 this year (MSU, Ohio St, MD are some I remember).
