Yeah that Scout profile I linked above ........shows Uconn interest and a NDS visit story.
Interesting.. he is good friends with recent commit Rob King, maybe he wants to play at the next level with his friend? Looks like Rutgers though, where he made a visit this past weekend.

Have to imagine Pindell would be the leading candidate to be the starter if he signs with UConn.
It appears Sheffield may end up with FSU as a slot guy after all. They are going to miss on both Henry Ruggs and Devonta Smith, each to Alabama and will likely end up with an extra scholly to give to Sheffield and perhaps Jerez Parks, who just delayed his announcement. The main domino to fall before this all goes down is likely Marvin Wilson at 4:35 this afternoon. So expect some quick action after that.
Personally, as a fan of both FSU and UConn, I would've preferred to see Sheffield go to UConn as a RB, could've been a star. He will just be another guy at Florida State. That said, he grew up a Nole fan and it's his dream to play for FSU, so you can't blame a kid for trying to realize his dream.
Either way, I wish him nothing but the best in college

Also I watched his signing day video, FSU doesn't have a scholly for him until next year so he has to greyshirt or blueshirt...can't win out over a players heart.. he's been a FSU fan since he was 8 years old !
