So both offense and defense coordinators have stated this was an open competition week. Those named were Betts and Manning at WR. Nelson and Payne at OLB. Farmer and Newsome at DB. Riley at DT/NT and of course QB. Anybody got any intel about practice is shaping up so far? Or who you would like to see? I want to see all the young guys honestly.

I mean really? Shouldn’t every practice be open competition? Did they just now three years in decide they need to play the best players?
Coaches have to say something to give fans hope after a loss. BUT what will matter are the real actions in the next game. That's when we see if it is "more of the same old stuff" or "there really is an effort to change things up". Verdict out until the next game is played.
