I predict NU manages to pull ahead of the Gophers late in the third Q by kicking a FG to go up something like 24-21. THEN....Rhule surprises Minny with an onside kick and we RECOVER it. Then start the 4th Q with a 9-minute TD scoring drive run exclusively out of the I-Formation to put it away. I mean hot damn, everything this staff does anymore comes up roses, so we might as well take some chances in games :)

Would there be a more telling sign that it’s been lifted. But agree with kong. Rhule won’t be needing any of that Tom foolery

I hope so I do worry that Minnesota will have more than adequate enough time to prepare for the 3-3-5 having played against it in bowl game and then all the extra prep in August.

If Rhule pulls a Frost - calling an onside kick while up - It will be the first question mark I would have with him. With Frost it was the final question mark I had of him.

Instead of gimmicks let's hope we see the following.

So, you think coach Rhule is gonna let the Big Dipper call the plays in the second half of the Minnesota game? Seems like an odd strategy, but then again I’m not plumber, so what do I know… 🤷‍♂️

Look how good the onside kick worked for us last year. Kick the ball out of the end zone and line up on defense.
