Truth be told...this game is circled every year. If the Hawks win out up to that game, there is plenty for the Hawkeyes to be even more motivated to piss pound the Huskers IMO! That being said, The Indiana and Nebraska game will not be easy sledding but barring anymore injuries, we should be getting a few more players back... A side note is that Nebraska will have two weeks to get ready for Iowa...

I'm just stating facts. 1-3 is 1-3 no matter how close the games were. No matter how you slice it and dice it...we have scoreboard over them for the time being. If you are going to make excuses for them you might as well point out that the -21 came from NU starting a third string walk on QB.

Not to mention having our entire starting OLine either being injured on the sideline or coming back from injury. Our offense was the walking-wounded.
