So looking at the numbers, we are currently sitting at 368 consecutive sell outs (last meaningful long standing record we seem to still hold dear). Doing the math, it would be our 4th home game in 2023 where we hit the 400 consecutive sellout milestone if we keep this streak going (and with the track HCSF has us on I see this as a virtual lock).

None other than Michigan would be the 4th home game that year, October 14, 2023. Seems fitting that 2 true blueblood programs would clash for that incredible milestone. Hoping our good Lord will keep me alive and upright for that one!

IMO arguing about this only increases fan division. What is the point of arguing about it or if the Omaha World Herald publishes a story about the lower turnstiles when the games were bitter cold at the end of the year?
All we are doing is undercutting the program that is the basis for a large part of this message board, our own fanbase, etc
Along with our tradition, this fanbase has hand in hand with the tradition kept this program relevant through a dark age of football.
I'm not ignoring lower actual turnstiles, etc. That number is important when you have coaches like Riley etc where the sellout is not reflected in the product on the field/butts in seats.
Reality is that it's part of the marketing to recruits. Best fans in the world slicing their face in a mirror like a Hannibal movie. It's twisted.
So ya, Charlie, join the OWH at pointing out obvious facts, but the bigger picture is that the sellout still means alot to this program. I'm taking the blue pill knowing the truth, but that the program comes before arguing about petty BS. Those that purchased those allotments of tickets I'm thankful for because they likely saw the bigger picture also.
I was there for the 300 sellout game with the throwback uniforms with Suh and Helu. To me its just argument for the sake of argument most of the time with this, but reality is that it's a pillar of recruiting and part of the fabric of the tradition of this program.

michigan was the Bobfather's first big win at NU in 1962, but it was away
