with State teams especially football is that our players very rarely are able to handle the pressure and accolades of success.

It amazes me how any National Championship level program keeps their players focused after huge wins and big movement in the polls.

Yes, I do remember the 5 weeks at no 1 in 2014. We had some letdowns in that time, but managed to survive until the pressure got to us at Bama. Dan almost had us at that next level.

Once we as fans, our administration, our coaches, and our players figure out how to handle the pressure we will have great success.

Honestly I just think there is something about the logo on your helmet. When you walk on that field as an Alabama player there is an expectation that you are going to **** excellence. That’s confidence is infectious. Every other team in the SEC outside of Bama has stumbled with success in the last 10 years. LSU lost to Troy, Florida lost to GA Southern, KY is 0-2, UGA lost to SC. It just happens to teams that don’t have that air of invincibility.

You need to have such a talent advantage that when you play your C+ game against an upstarts A game, you can still squeak out a win. Every team has let downs, even the Bamas and Clemsons of the world. But their talent gap is what carries them when they don't have their best.
