1. Horrible lopsided ref calls
2. Caleb having mental breakdowns late in game
3. Cliff thinking he was a 3 point shooter in the second half
etc etc……

This year is different
We should have 2 more wins against OSU and Miami

The Ohio State loss still irks me.
We also know who will/can take the "last shot".
Silver lining. Perhaps without that experience, we lose this one. Maybe they “dug in” just a little more last night.. Who knows?
I rationalize anyway I can to get through the season.
Funny but last night made me feel just a little better about the OSU mess. At the time I figured it was going to be our best shot at getting the "quality away win" monkey off our back. Last night took care of that. Still not happy but not as bad as if we went into the final game needing an away win and still grumbling about the OSU refs.
Without OSU who knows if this team turns into the killer instinct that we are

The other question that was answered: whos' going to step up and take the big shots at the end of the game? Geo challenged the team after the loss to Seton Hall. Last night Paul and Cam stepped up big time.
Paul was a beast and Cam was clutch. We have a very good team. Going to be a fun ride.

The plan was to try and get Zach Edey to come out to him and open up things inside for others...Edey and Purdue were not going for it.

Do you think late in the game the coaches said Hey Cliff there's a reason you a wide open on the 3.pt line. For the rest of the game, you can shoot Only if you can dunk it...
Honestly, I don’t have an issue with him taking a shot at one in the first half. If he makes it, he can shoot until he misses one. Go from there.
