I can't let it go. So disappointed after our lousy showing in Omaha. There are so many crucial calls at first base in baseball that I would be for instant replay for first base calls only. The reason is that it can affect the game like it did against the Cards. They go into extra innings if the right call is made. There is so much time between batters that a replay official could signal the ump from the press box if he asks for help in less than 30 seconds. Remember when the pro ump took away a no-hitter a couple of years ago? It wouldn't delay the game and it would right some wrongs.
