47 to 32 actually. You could argue at least a handful of KU's 30 defensive boards go away if some of Trent and Allen's 3's become Bagley attempts inside.
You do realize Kansas was double and triple teaming MBIII every time he got the the ball, don't you? Hell, guys were rotating to him when it looked like he MIGHT get the ball.
If Bags was going to have an impact, it had to be playing D and rebounding, his points coming off put backs. Unfortunately, he allowed himself to be consistently boxed out by smaller players (easily I might add) and he is (and has been) a total liability on the defensive end. When he was put at the 5 on D it became a layup drill for Kansas.
Like Jabari Parker, K can't let a guy play zero D all season and then expect him to be a competent defender when Duke most needs him to be.
IMO, this game was lost early in the year when MBIII was backing away from guys going in for dunks and layups and not getting benched for it. He was enabled to be lazy on D because he was so dominant on the offensive end. It cost Duke yesterday.
