I know Missouri is down this year, but this game still scares me to death. I just want to go in, score steady, hold them to lots of three and outs, win and get out.. What do you all think?

These guys have just as good of a pass rush as A&M. This game is going to come down to protecting Dak.

Always tough to win on the road, but they have looked really bad the last few times I watched them. I think we win but it will be a hard fought game that isn't decided until the second half.

There has been people that were scared to death about every game we have played this year. Even Troy and LA Tech

I think we win in a blowout.

They are what Vandy is most years, but with a good defense. They can't find the endzone with a map. They have scored 10 or less points 5 times this year. Dak could have the worst game of his career, and we still probably win.

I'm worried about our own psyche due to the fact that we will be looking ahead to Bama the following weekend. Because of that, I think that its pretty much inevitable that we are not going to see the same intensity that we have seen the past 2 games, and this game will probably be closer than it should be. However, Missouri is a bad, bad football team - arguably the worst team on our schedule outside of Troy or NW State. There should be no doubt as to the eventual outcome even if we don't play our A-game. A loss to them would be by far the worst loss of the Mullen era and there wouldn't even be a close second. My prediction is a 24-10 win or something thereabouts.

It is amazing to me how many people try so hard to invent things to be worried about. It's like the same old "beat down Mississippi State" attitude from the 1980s and the Croom era has never died. Of course Missouri is a pretty decent defensive team and if we don't take them seriously, there's a chance they could win. But there's no reason to think we won't take them seriously, we are simply the better team, and there's no reason to be overly concerned with this game. 90% chance we win.

It doesn't help those feelings die when you go to a game at Troy and nearly get embarrassed, need OT to be La Tech at home, or barely squeak by Kentucky or UAB.

I'll be on pins & needles Thursday until we're comfortably up by more than 2 TDs.

You may be right-that it's a 90% chance we win. I would have bet it was a 90% chance we would taken Ole Miss seriously last year also, but I don't suppose we did.

Egg Bowl last year went like the Egg Bowl usually goes. The visiting team is intimidated and gets their *** kicked. This isn't the Egg Bowl and Missouri's not even remotely close to being as good a team as Mississippi was last year (or is this year).
