His first few games were against bad teams - he gets hurt - and returns to play some of the best teams in the country. Its not regression.
Harsh but true about H. I think that 10x looks more like 1.25x the last two games. But Cliff has been a real presence at times, which we got only sometimes from H early on, and Cliff made a jump shot earlier in the year, which is something I'm not sure H did at all in his 4 years.I was gonna say, does anyone remember Hamady’s first few years? That dude was terrible. Cliff is prob 10x where Hamady was.
Cliff is extremely athletic and very unpolished. He needs a lot of work on offense. Is he regressing? His reaction time on rebounds seems worse than it was at the start of the year. He reacts to rebounds late seems a bit lost in relation to the ball sometimes. Tends to lose position sometimes on defense and offensively has no game. At the start of the year he looked much better than he does now. I'm sure he's in a bit of a slump after the knee injury but his movement doesn't look smooth overall.
This is my only concern with him. Not sure if his hands are going to improve enough. Hope so.His hands aren't as sure either. Will come around.

I think Cliff starting was to protect Myles from getting fouls early, rather than Cliff being the better center and startingJust put it this way before getting hurt, Cliff was starting over Myles.
The pure raw athletic ability of Cliff allowed him to get starter mins. Just wait until he gets healthy and becomes a refined basketball player over the next couple of years.
He’s definitely not 100%. Doesn’t have the same spring and movement but is out there battling for his team.
This thread should be saved for the second half of next season and his junior year to see how it ages.

There is little doubt that Myles is the better of the two right now
Not a troll and I stand by my word. Take your scarlet glasses off for a game and really watch him. He is impressive physically, but in no other way. I would rather see Doucure on the floor. I watch the kid...love his attitude...but don’t see an ounce of coordination with the hands or the feet. We got fools gold on this one.OMG. Hes not going to get there. Hes played in what, 8 or 9 games as a true frosh in the best conf in the country? Lol. This post had to be a troll, right?. No way anyone really thinks this way.
Right on!I’d do an old time drill with him everyday for 15 minutes, stand 10 feet from him and throw him the ball everywhere but perfect for 15 minutes.
He needs to snatch it, and use his footwork to not drop one, or he starts all over again.
