We’ll never have empty stadiums or lockdowns again. People just will not do it this time. And I am as pro precaution and pro mask as it gets - I’m just also a realist. That time is over.

most likely each subsequent variant will be more communicable and less deadly. That’s the entire point of mutation - the version that can spread the most and not kill the host will win out over time.

Also having vaccines, and more than one oral medication coming, if people aren't protecting themselves it's their own choice. When there was no vaccine they had to try to protect people dispute how unpopular no fans last season was.

agreed. Once I got the vax along with a decent amount of people did, I’m ok with going back to mostly normal. I’m still ok with masks (they did wonders for the flu last year), but honestly I don’t wear it much except public bathrooms, hell ought to be wearing it in there no matter what. I’ll boost up next week and if I’m a breakthrough case later, then so be it. Football shan’t be ruined again!

Not happening. Only way we shut down again is if deaths and hospitalization skyrocket.

We have better tools and treatments now.

Now I could see local restrictions if a town's hospital gets swamped or something, but no widespread restrictions will occur for most situations unless this thin turns out to be monstrous. And so far it hasn’t, thank God.

Nah, that's life. Blame the Chinese if you're looking to be mad at someone.
That’s life? What an *******. Your lack of compassion is difusting

Show up to a funeral and say that. And then don’t cry when you rightfully get the **** beat out of you.

Has Covid been twisted? Sure. Have people overblown it at times? Sure.

Have people, died to this? Yep. And you wouldn’t dare have such a cavalier attitude if you lived in Italy or NYC.

Yeah I don't give a ****. Spare me the histrionics, it's been two years. Not interested in hearing sob stories trying to validate why the minority should be allowed to keep holding the majority hostage with this ********. If you're scared, stay home. Either get busy living or get busy dying.

Only Kentucky will have to go fanless.
All the other SEC teams dont draw enough fans to worry about social distancing.

Histrionics? My friend lost his father to Covid. I actually care about him. And saw the pain on his face when his last parent left this Earth

I’ve lost two parents to disease. So, perhaps I’m a little bit more empathetic when people lose their loved ones. But that makes me a “soft Nancy” to some of you keyboard hard asses huh?

I don’t swing left or right. And I’ve worked every scheduled day through two years of this. I’ve also been careful and wash hands and practiced common sense. Guess makes me a scaredy-cat.

Some of you can’t separate politics from anything you do. And it’s really effing annoying.

People die every day from something!! You can't keep blaming death from something that was man made.. when it's your time to die you will die no matter where you are or from what ever takes your life..
Death is inevitable and every one that has ever been born will die from something.. Now if you are scared to die make your peace with God and not worry about tomorrow nothing is guaranteed in life..
Have a blessed day and hope you live to be 100.

Anyone that says anything definitive at this point pretty much has their head up their ***. There is precious little data. Try to limit international travel and continue existing measures is all that makes sense till more data is available.

I'm not worried about any fighting. Yall would be too scared of the flu to break the 6' social distancing to land a punch, right?

Live and let live.Im vaccinated and take precautions like wearing a mask and using hand sanitizer.Ive lost loved ones who said it was a hoax and refused the vaccine.I wish it hadn't happened but it is what it is.Ive done all I can to try to stay safe.I just refuse to argue over it .People make choices everyday.Life is all about choices.I hope those who are unvaccinated remain healthy and safe but if they get it and it takes their life then that's a choice they made. For those who decided to get the vaccine and practice safe measures you have nothing to be ashamed of.

There has not been one documented death from this variant.
Right, BUT how dangerous and serious will they try to make it appear? That is the question for me. They made the original variant out to be much worse than it actually was.

Kept hearing the announcers in the Bama/Zags game say how great it was to have the fans back. Not saying it wasn’t legit. Just saying it wasn’t as bad as they made it appear. I told my wife, “yeah and hopefully they don’t **** it up again!” Really hope that doesn’t happen.

I’d say KAT would like to have a few words with those who think nobody cares.
