He tweeted about the game at noon. So.... either unhealthy and not at the game, but still supporting the team, or something..?
The transfer from Iowa who just granted his waiver had some nice catches. Tremendous athlete. The transfer some South Dakota has played a bunch and has played well.
Maybe he actually is fighting some sort of injury. That combined with being behind in playbook knowledge keeping him off the field
He better be injured if they're allowing him to stick around when not putting in the work.
Has anyone ever stated he wasn't "putting in the work"?
I have seen that stated a few times but not sure where it came from.
So really nobody knows what's going on with him except a few on the team.

It's a mystery for sure. I just wonder if it is more personal and he is struggling. Allowing him around the team and keeping him in the fold would be really important if that is the case.
But we are all just speculating!
Going into the season I was optimistic because Mills was our Bell Cow, Omar was our #1 receiver, then we would have Betts at #2 receiver with some quick hits to Wandell across the middle and throw in our improved tight ends once in awhile. As a last resort we would have the legs of our QB.
Reality, no Mills, no Omar, Betts used sparingly, Wandell forced into being a running back and our best play is a broken play with a QB scramble. In short, for whatever reason we have no playmakers.
