I have a trivia question for everyone here.

Name the last player from the Omaha Metro that was a highly ranked scholarship player to sign with Nebraska and produce at a high 1st or 2nd all conference level.

Before you start a stupid debate that has zero with the current staff . Just stop please. Rhule has recruited Omaha fairly well. Let’s have this discussion in a couple years.

Might be Eric Crouch

Alex Henery was All Conference but I don't think that he was highly recruited

Forgot about Niles. It has been a long time since Omaha used to be a pipeline for NU running backs.

Trike Rider might be a fan of some team, but it’s not Nebraska.
I love how you resort to going after my character instead of addressing the factual information I presented. I'm guessing you are from Omaha? Why did you take this fact so personally?

How is it attacking character to say you are not husker fan? If you are a fan, it certainly doesn’t bring you joy. You complain like an old lady about everything. I’ll pass on some free advice. If your hobbies and interests don’t bring you joy you should stop doing them and following them.

Not many to choose from right? Off the top of my head who signed with someone else and produced at a high conference level;

Watts, Fant and Phillips. That's not many players over what, a 20 year time span?

He has the same fascination with his "perceived facts" as kong.
Those who think they know everything are annoying to those of us who do.

This is exactly my point. Xavier Watts would be next after Niles Paul in the class of 2007.

And people wonder why Nebraska has sucked for a decade. Omaha is critical to the success of the Nebraska program and they are not pulling their weight.

There has to be systematic issues starting with the youth football programs for a population pool of that size to not produce a single 4 star between 2008 and 2018.

Watts as much as said he would have been interested in NU, but the program sucked and he went to ND.

Ugh, I so badly wanted a 4 WR set to have Coleman, Betts, Hall, and Fidone.

I’d argue Fidone thought for the OP, he’s Omaha -Metro Kid
I consider Fidone a disappointment for being the number #1 TE recruit. Not really his fault with the bad injuries.

Here lately the Omaha must get kids haven’t panned out, i hope Caleb benning can change that
Is he ever going to get a chance to start? They're running it back with Singleton and bringing in all of these transfers. I wonder if he'll get his shot.
