What a run the Vikings have had the past decade. People underestimate what Coach Martin has done there. It is harder than you think to win at North being in a rough area of Omaha. You have to think Martin has gotten offers from small colleges in the area.

27-20 north scored a TD with 18 seconds left after getting the ball with about a minute left. They came back from a 20-7 deficit in the 4th quarter.
That may have been one of the most impressive game winning drives I have ever seen. 80 yards in less than a minute. All runs. Wow.
North won 27-20. North was down 20-7. Kearney missed a chip shot field goal with about a minute left. North goes 80 yards with nothing but runs to win it.
Milton Sarbah and Zander Gray are badass!
Gray is a junior and he would look great as a Husker fullback in our new run oriented offense.
We will never know, but I wonder if O North has that last drive if Kearney doesn’t miss that FG. I’m absolutely not taking anything away from North, but it seemed Kearney played scared that last drive.
Kearney's D played lights out most of the game. Our kids just wore out the last drive. Proud of the kids. Good game.

heard Benning say that Gray is only 15 years old right now. Also thinks Sarbah needs an offer. He may get one with a new staff since they will probably be scrambling a bit.
There is actually quite a bit of speed in the Nebraska high school ranks, that would look good in a Scott Frost offense. Was impressed with both Sargbah and Kautz yesterday. Maessner from Kearney also has great speed and is only a sophomore.
'97 Alum here...it was a fun game to be at. Sloppy first half - North couldn't hold on to the ball. Those 2 yard runs in the first half though turned into 5, 6 ,7 yard runs in the second half. Zander Gray is not fast by any means, but is a man among boys in Class A. #Vup
That was a great game. Kearney looked like they were going to run away with it but Omaha showed grit and character in that comeback. That was everything you want a state championship game to be. Both teams were really great teams.
Frost might disagree. All he cares about is speed. Adrian Killins is listed at 5'8, 150 pounds, and that's being generous.
And remember Darren Sproles and Danny Woodhead? We passed on both of them because of size. Or Cory Ross? He did OK here.
Kearney's two way guys wilted in the fourth. The missed FG was big. Hats off to North.

Frost doesn't have a fullback in his offense...and he throws it roughly half the time.
Frost cares a LOT about physical play. Remember when UCF took on Michigan last year? He was all about his team out-hitting Michigan.
