Yes. He was fired because he had impermissible contact with a group of players in Texas. He then lied to the NCAA twice about the meeting or even knowing the booster who set it up. After he admitted it, he was given the choice of being fired or resigning.

He makes 550,000 at Detroit. If Ole Miss is willing to pay more than 550,000 to a DL coach, that is concerning.

Coaching is a pretty good racket... not many jobs that you get fired for cheating and lying and able to find another that pays that good.

Why would you want to coach dl in college over nfl? All you have to do is coach in one vs recruit with all other kinds of restrictions in the other

You don’t hire Bo Davis to coach DL. You hire Bo Davis to “recruit.”

He was forced to resign. He wasn't fired. Small difference and that's being picky.

Also, The Tuscaloosa News put in an open records request to the legal department at UA and they either hid info by lying about it or don't understand basic English. Let's get real... they lied to cover up cheating for the football team.

Of all the resources and energy they put into cheating, it's hilarious that they haven't accomplished anymore than what they have.
