I hope NBC takes a bath on the ratings and has to reimburse or give free advertising like the last Super Bowl. I stopped watching years ago because of ten minutes of programming, two mins. of actual sport and 10 minutes of commercials, lather rinse repeat...

You got me to think about some of the dangerous winter sports as compared to the summer sports… Downhill skiing, half pipe snowboarding, the two you events mentioned… Winter Olympics seem to be far more dangerous than anything the Summer Olympics have to offer.

Haven't watched much. Happened to catch the Nathan Chen skating deal last night. Congratulations to him. On a side note, Tara Lipininski is still bangable....and that Johnny Weir tool didn't get the memo that he wasn't hired by the pos network he is working for, as an announcer of the Hunger Games.

As a Gen Xer kid, we used to wax our sleds to race down an iced street.

Yes, we waxed our wooden sleds with metal bottoms so we could go faster.

Anything and everything to win.

Speaking of being a Gen X kid. My favorite BMX movie as a youngster was on the other night. "Rad". Hadn't seen in 35 years. Damn, I'm old. Total 80s cheese with Crue Jones. Lori Loughlin looking very fine in it too!! Great soundtrack as well.
