Being pressured on Kaepernick

Said salary demands to high and XFL players are expected to stand for the National Anthem.

Kaepernick has no desire of ever playing football again. Can’t play the victim card and sell books/interviews when you sign with someone and get exposed for being a mediocre to bad quarterback. He could have already signed with CFL team, he could easily sign with XFL team. Hell, the Ravens offered him a contract until his girlfriend conveniently said something stupid to get them to pull contract offer. The league then goes out of their way to hold workout for him with several teams lined up to watch him. Once again, he conveniently changes the location of workout and rules of it. He has no desire to play football, he doesn’t want to. How will he ever be able to sell interviews and books if he got exposed for being a mediocre/bad quarterback? Kaepernick is a fraud

There seems to be less risk to him financially if he doesn’t play. More money in his current role. Interesting.

I see very little about this guy except regurgitation of him by the people that are most offended by him. If people that hate the message someone sends, why don't they cease to exist to the person? Seriously, change the channel, click on another news article, turn the newspaper page. I would have forgotten about this guy if I didn't read the blue lot.

I love when I open seemingly on topic threads and it's the usual douchebags going on about stupid politics crap I couldn't care less about.

Honestly, if the thread title said the dude's name I wouldn't have clicked on it, just like you. I clicked because I thought it was about a former Mountaineer.

I thought it was interesting to see what Luck had to say. He had the platform to give Kaepernick a job and chose not to do so. If you don’t like it don’t click on the thread or if you do click back out. But no you’re obviously one of the douchebags because you can’t refrain from commenting on something that doesn’t interest you.

For a guy who “couldn’t care less,” you sure seem to always post/reply a lot on these conservative-type takes stating such.

I’m all for CK having his political views and support his right to express them, regardless if I don’t agree with him at all. But at this point, he’s not lobbying to return to the field, he’s only making noise to keep his name in the media. He made enough money in his law suit with the NFL. He doesn’t want to be bothered with the work it takes to be an elite athlete, easier to be a **** stirrer.

Yeah, whatever, I get on coal for his stupid posts, too. There is literally an OT forum for this stupid crap. If any of you had interesting opinions, it would be one thing. But it's literally the same stupid, unnuanced, tribalist nonsense all the time with you dipshits. Some mediocre player takes a knee during the national anthem like 5 years ago and the entire world is supposed to stop when his existence is briefly mentioned, apparently. God you people are easily triggered.

If only it had been limited to some ridiculous stunt from 5 years ago. Unfortunately, the media has kept it broiling, alive & well, all that time.

In my world, they call your take "selective editing".

I laugh French-like at their petty, incendiary cudgel. They are losing ... and I'm savoring their decline. There is a reason why Alt-Tech has emerged and the mainstream is filled with rotting carp.

Do they? I don't watch Fox News or MSNBC. It wouldn't surprise me if the "everyone on the other side is evil" channels mention him ad nauseum.

I haven't seen the dude get mentioned on the regular, unsensationalist broadcast nightly news (you know, the one produced for sane people) or on my Reuters news app in literally years.

1. Start obviously political thread.
2. Get triggered when someone points out there is a better place for this.
3. Blame media for making you talk about person you hate.

Brilliant

So wait a minute ....

The 6:30 P.M. nightly "news" is not propaganda?

You may want to jump aboard a whirlybird with Lieutenant Dan and see how the Vietnam War (oh, I'm sorry ... "conflict") was portrayed and broadcast 50+ years ago.

Well before my time as a human being ... while well within my scope of rational evaluation.

Propaganda has been around for a lot longer than Sean Hannity or Rachel Maddow ... whom I'm sure are decent enough fellas in their own right.

We are easily triggered ? Says the guy coming out firing like it’s the Alamo over someone posting what our former AD had to say about a washed up POS. Which he would have never had to do except YOU people always try to push Your **** on everybody else.

Because the subject of the thread is Oliver Luck and how this circus is being thrust on him, not Colin Kaepernick.

1) Guy starts obvious political thread that tangentially, at best, involves a former WVU grad.
2) Guy gets called out
3) Guy gets triggered because he is a snowflake that can't handle being called out
4) Guy, in a display of laughable hypocrisy, calls out person tired of seeing political nonsense on his sports forum for trying to "push your **** on everybody else."

Which he would have never had to do except YOU people always try to push Your **** on everybody else.

Uh...what now? What do you mean by "you people?" Are you trying to imply that Oliver Luck has to mention the kneeler because of people that hate off topic political threads on their sports forums? If you are implying that I support the dude, you're wrong. I think Colin is just a virtue signaler. And I think people that make a big stink over like you him are complete idiots. If you just ignored him, he'd go away. You have Streisand Effect'd him to maximum visibility and he lives rent free in your heads.

In full disclosure, I couldn't live in a world devoid of irony ... this post being a model example.

Most of Che Kaepernick's supporters do live rent-free.

Have you seen San Francisco housing costs, bro? Shew. I'd live in a van, too.

It's insane.

I'm a Libertarian at my core ... but what in the blue hell is going on in all these Deep Blue cities?

Needles ... human feces ... wild-eyed members of that Aunt Tiffany group or whatever.

I'll stay here for now.

Those Saul Alinsky strongholds can shampoo my crotch.

The guy that hates the media spewing Fox News talking points. And complaining about irony?

It's well documented that red states TAKE FROM the federal government while the blue state GIVE more money. Super red states...Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky and WV are all supported by the rest of us. Besides their comically bad education, health, income levels...they are also stuck having half wits with a gift for pop culture references defending them.

Facts are hard to deal with when you spend all your time complaining about the strawman of the "MEDIA".

And it’s this exact arrogance that will re-elect Donald J Trump. Congratulations! You’re better than everyone else. In your mind at least.

Why are you a member of this board if you hate WV and it's people so much?
