It was a mistake to introduce universal mail in ballots in states that never did it before. The process of mail in ballots itself is not secure and is obviously more susceptible to fraud than traditional methods. Even if no one in the country succumbed to the temptation to cheat, the losing side would question the results because of the lax security.
This is why even fair minded judges recuse themselves from cases where they have a conflict of interest.
It’s ok to make it easier to vote but not at the expense of security.
The virus was not a good excuse to change voting rules if the changes sacrificed security.

They've been using mail-in voting in Oregon for 20 years now with very, very little problems.
Isn't it ironic that there are only problems with mail-in voting

That is all anecdotal. There is no evidence of significant fraud in any other state that has implemented mail in voting...many of which have used it for years. And the DOJ has come out and said this was the most secure election ever...the same DOJ led by Barr, who is an admitted Trump loyalist. If anyone wanted to find something it would be him. There are now several Republican Secretaries of State that have said no fraud occurred. And there are several DOZEN and counting Federal Judges who have denied any claims...many of which were summarily dismissed due to zero evidence. And many of those Federal Judges were appointed by Trump.
Other than "thousands of signed affidavits" and a video on Twitter there is zero evidence of fraud.
